Emma Aime

Emma is passionate about her work and shows a keen interest in treatments that help her patients achieve their goals in their daily activities or in their sports.

His therapeutic approach uses a combination of interventions based on the needs and goals of the patient. Thus, she will use manual treatments, acupuncture, Gua Sha (cupping) but also a program of active exercises to obtain an optimal result.

Emma has a PhD in Physiotherapy (DPT) from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut. She completed her undergraduate degree at Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York, while playing NCAA Division I in the Women’s Hockey League.

Since becoming a physiotherapist, she has been strengthening her clinical knowledge through postgraduate courses. She has obtained a certification in acupuncture and practice the technique of trigger points. She also has a certified training in manual therapy (CMT).

In her spare time, Emma enjoys an active and sporty life. She likes ice sports such as hockey but also hiking in Gatineau Park and skating on the Rideau Canal.
