Kathy’s strong dedication to ongoing learning, her impressive credentials mixed together with her passion for excellence made her a perfect addition to our growing team.

The bulk of her treatment expertise lies in the use of manual therapy, which includes myofascial release, joint mobilizations, frictions, lymphatic drainage and joint manipulations. In 1997, Kathy demonstrated her orthopaedic skills by proudly completing her Intermediate Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulation Examination (Formally know as Part A Manual Therapy Exam).

Adjunct to her hands-on skills, Kathy has received further training in techniques such as Sahrmann, McKenzie Part A and B, medical exercise therapy, athletic taping and Butler nervous tissue tension testing.

As a physiotherapist, Kathy particularly thrives on the challenges of treating running and other sports-related injuries. She enjoys the balance of staying fit, working part-time at Motion Matters and full time as a passionate mother of two. Kathy recently set a personal goal to one day complete her first triathlon.
